The English Lacrosse Association is the National Governing Body for Lacrosse in England. The main goal for English Lacrosse is to make Lacrosse a major team sport in England within the next ten years. We represent a company that makes the most of dedicated professionals and volunteers to develop lacrosse and increase participation across England. We hope that as we continue to promote lacrosse whether field, INTO or POP lacrosse we can keep developing opportunities for individuals to participate. With the option to get involved at school, club and university level, lacrosse is fastest growing sport on two feet. Currently holding the European Champions title, Team England's Men and Women continue to succeed on the elite stage. With impressive Junior programmes for both Boys aged 11-17 and Girls aged 13-19 (Regional & National Academies), we hope to make the dream of reaching the world top 3 a reality. English Lacrosse have an excellent track record for arranging successful world class events such as the Men's World Championship in 2010 which saw 40 international teams embark upon Manchester for a fantastic tournament. We hope to relive this success and have won the bid for the 2017 Women's World Cup which will take place at Surrey Sports Park. And the 2018 Men's World Championships will return to Manchester in 2018.
