Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas provides free civil legal services to eligible low-income residents in 114 Texas counties, with offices in Abilene, Amarillo, Brownwood, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Lubbock, McKinney, Midland, Odessa, Plainview, San Angelo, Waxahachie, Weatherford and Wichita Falls. The fifth-largest Legal Aid program in the United States, LANWT operates a telephone intake service and conducts community intake sites at locations throughout our service area. Our staff and volunteers are committed to the delivery of effective and efficient legal services. LANWT also offers significant educational opportunities and experiences for high school, college and law students, as well as retired members of our community.
