iCarol is web-based software used by non-profit helplines of all kinds, including suicide prevention and crisis, 2-1-1 and information and referral, aging, befriending, warmline listening, LGBTQIA, survivors of intimate partner or sexual violence, and many others. iCarol brings many of the daily tasks of a helpline manager into one integrated solution. iCarol Helpline Software enables helpline managers to secure funding, grow their service, improve service delivery, foster volunteer loyalty, and respond to the changing needs of their communities. This is accomplished thanks to our integrated features: contact management and data collection using customizable forms, referral database and resource management, volunteer and staff management tools, online shift scheduling, interacting with help seekers through alternative channels like live chat and texting, and statistics and reporting. iCarol was created by helpline volunteers who wanted to simplify the volunteer experience of their colleagues, while providing their helpline with the tools to survive and thrive. Using their professional backgrounds in the high tech industry, they built iCarol and their helpline became the first client. Now over 70,000 people log into iCarol worldwide logging over 5 million transactions with help seekers annually. Our solution has continued to grow and add on features regularly thanks to the expert input and feature requests received from our users.
