Cascades Recovery+, a division of Cascades Canada ULC (CR+), currently provides Its industry leading â€˜Recoveryâ€¦ Plus' recycling program to an extensive list of customers throughout Canada and into the United States. These customers are supported by an infrastructure of 20+ Material Recovery Facilities from coast to coast all owned and operated by CR+. Within the municipal realm CR+ currently manages the processing of curbside materials for the entire province of British Columbia as well as for the City of Ottawa, City of Calgary and surrounding municipalities such as Cochrane and Chestermere. From a national scope, CRI is also servicing Canada's largest retailers including, but not limited to, LOBLAW, Walmart, Staples, Home Depot, Winners and Costco. Cascades Recovery+ (CR+) would be thought of as being in the Waste Management Industry but day in and day out we try to prove to our customers that we are NOT a waste company. We are a discarded material solutions provider. We do not sell a service or worry about the total amount of lifts we execute on a garbage bin. Our teams focus on learning potential clients needs from a sustainability, waste and recycling standpoint and deliver a solution that will achieve all of those needs. We are NOT a service provider, we are a SOLUTIONS provider and that is exactly what Recovery â€¦PLUS is all about. What makes Cascades so different? Unlike waste companies, we focus our efforts on diverting materials from landfill by exercising all options domestically, internationally and overseas to secure a home for discarded materials. Cascades does not own landfills and it is not in the business of â€˜waste management' â€“ we focus on Discarded Material Management. What does this mean? All materials are looked at as Discards, not waste. When we change our perspective of what we are collecting we focus on finding a positive end of life for these materials rather than just deeming them â€˜waste'.
