The Christian Sharing Center has been preventing homelessness and hunger since 1986. Each year we serve over 15,000 people by offering a hand up during financial crises caused by job loss, medical issues or other unforeseen event. We offer assistance with food, clothing, housing, transportation, utilities, and medical costs. Our Oasis program is a drop-in respite center for the homeless which offers showers, haircuts, laundry services, and future stability guidance. The Sharing Center is supported by businesses, civic and community groups, churches and individuals. Annually volunteers and groups support our mission with over 41,000 hours of service. A large portion of our services are financed through our thrift store and boutique, where we resell donated household goods, clothing and furniture.
