Founded by Liz Thomson and Nicholas Clee, it is now edited by Clee and Neill Denny. Nicholas Clee was editor of the Bookseller from 1999 to 2004, and before that was the paper's book news editor (1984-1999). He writes about books and the book industry for the Times, Guardian, Times Literary Supplement, and NewBooks magazine, and is Contributing Editor of the Publishers Association Statistics Yearbook. He was food columnist for the New Statesman from January 2007 to September 2008, and has also written for the Observer Sports Monthly.
