At Little Kickers we run soccer classes for pre-school kids (aged 18 months - 7th birthday). Our overall objective is to provide children with a fun, positive introduction to sport. The programme combines the teaching of solid soccer basics, with the development of early learning skills such as learning colours, numbers, socialisation, sharing, following instructions, taking turns etc. Our company motto is 'Play not Push' - emphasising the importance we place on ensuring the kids have fun at our classes and they learn through playing, rather than our classes acting as a mechanism for parents to pressure their kids into competing. Little Kickers was set up in the UK in 2002 and now operates through a network of over 120 franchisees in the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with plans to expand into other countries in the future.
