Co-founded by Alicia Keys and long-time activist Leigh Blake, Keep a Child Alive was born in early 2003 as an emergency push to get life-saving HIV medications to impoverished African families, who otherwise would not have had access to treatment. 14 years later, we continue to fight HIV and AIDS on the frontlines, partnering with grass-roots organizations to develop community-led initiatives to prevent new HIV infections, fight barriers to treatment and end discrimination. Working with our partners on the ground in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India, we are currently impacting the lives of over 89,000 people, who now join us in our efforts to raise awareness and take action. Together we are committed to realizing the end of AIDS. We hope you'll join us.
