As a district general hospital it offers the full range of in-patient and out-patient clinical services as well as working closely with nearby specialist units to support patients with more complex conditions. Our community services Our community health services care for patients of all ages, out of hospital and close to home. From the very young to the very old our nursing, therapy and specialist children's services reach every corner of the borough and every local resident. With increasing integration across our services, the line between â€˜acute' and â€˜community' is becoming increasingly blurred.
