Institut Pasteur Korea is an infectious disease-focused research institute that utilizes proprietary platforms to identify novel molecular targets and discover small molecules to diagnose, treat and address serious unmet global public health needs. It was established as a nonprofit private research institute in Apr. 2004 by a collaboration between the Korean government and Institut Pasteur to strategically combine Institut Pasteur's strength in biomedical research with Korean expertise in information technology.
