I specialize in, and have a great deal of experience with, caregiving for elderly and infirmed individuals needing assistance. However, due to my own physical limitations, I am no longer able to do any heavy lifting or extensive cleaning or hard physical labor. But, there are many things I am quite good at and still capable of doing. I am quite knowledgable and resourceful when it comes to household maintenance and repairs, including electronics and household appliances. I have managed whole households very successfully. Having worked as a general contractor for a number of years, I know how to interview, instigate, and coordinate work needed around the home that I am not able to do myself. And, insure that all maintenance and repair work is done properly and well. I have worked with many families and individuals, many highly regarded members of our community, in various capacities, for seven plus years now: from young people recovering from injuries, people dying from cancer or simply old age, to senior citizens needing help to retain their independence, and stay in their homes as long as possible.
