The Turk's purchased Splash Down Park in 2004, renamed it SplashDown Beach, and immediately added the Monster Wave Pool and Humunga Halfpipe Tube Ride. After their first season of ownership, SplashDown Beach earned the Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation's Newcomer Business Award. Heading into their 13th season of operation, Steve and Shelley have invested over $20 million in new rides, attractions, and facilities.
