Age UK Mid Mersey is an independent local voluntary organisation, which supports people 50+ living in the Mid Mersey area. We are a registered charity with its own board of trustees. The majority of our income is raised through the organisation's trading subsidiary. As a member of the Age UK federation, Age UK Mid Mersey draws on expertise from Age UK on policy and legislation. In July 2006, Age UK Mid Mersey was successful in obtaining the Quality Counts framework standard. The mission of Age UK Mid Mersey is to promote the well-being of all older people and to help make their lives fulfilling and enjoyable. We do this through: Providing services and support Campaigning and raising public awareness Innovation and research Partnerships Age UK Mid Mersey ensures that older people are consulted and involved in the planning and implementation of services.
