Global Aid Network® (GAiN®) is a multi‐national network of ministries serving to demonstrate the love of God, through word and deed, to hurting and needy people around the world through relief and development projects. The ministry of Global Aid Network spans the globe helping to meet physical needs in areas of poverty and despair and providing hope through evangelistic outreach. Global Aid Network partners with existing Campus Crusade for Christ ministries, local churches, missionaries, and other agencies to help distribute compassionate aid to impoverished countries around the world. Started in 1991 as a humanitarian project to the former Soviet Union, Global Aid Network is now overseeing projects in more than 50 countries having distributed hundreds of millions dollars worth of humanitarian aid and mobilized more than 12,000 short‐term mission participants internationally. GAiN is sinds 2008 actief in Nederland. De wereldwijde hulporganisatie is actief in meer dan vijftig landen en heeft meer dan 10.000 vrijwilligers. GAiN ziet hulpverlening als evangelisatiemiddel om mensen te bereiken met de boodschap over Jezus. GAiN is een netwerkorganisatie van wereldwijde christenen. We werken samen met de plaatselijke christenen. Ons startpunt bij hulpverlening is de plaatselijke kerk waar dan ook ter wereld. GAiN heeft in Nederland vijf speerpunten: hulp bij rampen, logistiek, ontwikkelingshulp, projectreizen en Water for Life.
