The Nightline Association is the international charity network for Nightlines. Our vision is for every student in higher and further education to have access to the support offered by Nightline services so that: * every student is able to talk about their feelings in a safe, non-judgmental environment * fewer students have their education compromised by emotional difficulties * fewer students die by suicide. To achieve our vision, our mission is to raise the quality, profile and number of Nightline services so that every student is aware of and has access to confidential emotional peer support. We do this through an established network of Trustees, Heads of Department and six different departments who each manage an aspect of Nightline life. With the exception of Mags Godderidge, our Charity Development Manager, the Nightline Association is made up entirely of volunteers, who are the first port of call for Nightlines, whether the advice or assistance they need relates to IT, internal policy or an aspect of their development, we are here to support them going forward. The Nightline Association is supported by Comic Relief, and our aims are to fulfil our vision that no student within Higher Education is unheard. To further this, we are continually working with Universities and Students' Unions to create new Nightlines, expand an existing Nightline to cover another university in the same city and to also develop those Nightlines that are always established.
