Established in 1994, SBLD Studio is an award-wining WBE dedicated to the design and specification of architectural lighting systems with an emphasis on creative and integrated solutions. Within the last 20 years SBLD Studio has built a reputation for cutting edge lighting design on large scale architectural projects. Our studio, designed by our own staff of professionals, includes state-of-the-art technology for both design and lighting simulation analysis. Our services include computer modeling studies of both natural and artificial illumination, as well as a hands on mock-up lab for testing new lighting equipment and concepts. Our firm portfolio encompasses a broad variety of domestic and international projects including: transportation facilities; museums, art and exhibit spaces; performance venues; corporate office interiors and trading rooms; academic institutions; commercial buildings and lobbies; healthcare and hospital facilities; sports and recreational facilities; landscape lighting; restaurants and hotels; retail and showroom spaces; and themed entertainment environments.
