Scottish Provincial Press is a privately-owned company producing fifteen weekly newspapers covering Caithness, Sutherland, Ross-shire, Inverness-shire, Strathspey, Moray and Banffshire. The titles are produced at three production sites – Inverness, Elgin and Wick – with all fifteen being printed at the company's Highland Web Offset centre in Dingwall, the county town of Ross-shire. Along with the three production centres, Scottish Provincial Press has editorial and advertising offices in Wick, Thurso, Golspie, Dingwall, Inverness, Grantown-on-Spey, Kingussie, Forres, Elgin and Banff. Each paper has its own Editor and Advertising Manager whose task it is to represent their own communities and "fight their corner". The number of awards won by individual Scottish Provincial Press papers and their staff proves they are doing just that. As an editorial and advertising force, Scottish Provincial Press has a unique place in the lives of those living in the North and North-East. To complement this stable of local newspapers Scottish Provincial Press also publish many other more specialist products, amongst which are a business magazine, lifestyle magazine and numerous publications for the tourism industry.
