WE BELIEVE THAT CHARCOAL IS MORE THAN JUST AN "ACCESSORY". We created Jealous Devil because we knew there had to be a better way to cook. We were tired of breathing in toxins and having our food taste like lighter fluid when cooking with briquettes. And we were kind scared when we found out the #1 charcoal producer in the US makes charcoal from "industry waste wood". We weren't even sure what it meant, but we knew cooking our food with "waste wood" wasn't something we wanted to do anymore. So we decided to go on a mission and searched the globe for a wood that would make the perfect charcoal. We found it deep in the Paraguayan Chaco. It took us 4 years to perfect the craft of making Jealous Devil charcoal, but it's been well worth the time. Our promise to you – you will never regret cooking with our charcoal.
