We were tired of breathing in toxins and having our food taste like lighter fluid when cooking with briquettes. And we were kind scared when we found out the #1 charcoal producer in the US makes charcoal from "industry waste wood". We weren't even sure what it meant, but we knew cooking our food with "waste wood" wasn't something we wanted to do anymore. So we decided to go on a mission and searched the globe for a wood that would make the perfect charcoal. We found it deep in the Paraguayan Chaco.
