Age Cymru Swansea Bay is a vibrant, independent local charity. We work at the heart of communities across Western Bay to support local people to live and age well. We work collaboratively with over 70 partners, including the local health board, the local authority, other voluntary sector partners and the private sector. We are a dynamic, caring organisation that produces results for local people who need our support and we are both reactive and proactive in ensuring that people receive quality services that make a difference to their lives. As a local Age Cymru partner we have the support of Age Cymru, giving local people a national voice and ensuring the needs of older people are heard by the Welsh Government and in London through Age UK. We currently offer a range of services to adults of all ages and we have new services developing all the time. We have a walk in service at our office from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm on Fridays, offering advice and information, including specialist housing related advice, access to welfare benefit information and support to maximise your income. In addition to this we offer a range of specialist community based services, including support for people who are feeling lonely or isolated, and practical assistance with small jobs at home. Homecare Plus is our not-for-profit, offering services such as domestic cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, mobile hairdressing, gardening, and home repairs and improvements.
