Manningham Housing Association (MHA) is a registered provider with the Tenancy Services Authority (TSA). It works in Bradford and has a specialist role in providing housing and services to the cities Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic community (BAME) MHA owns approximately 1,300 homes. Unusually for a housing association, over half of our homes are three - bedroomed or bigger. As a consequence of this fact, the Assocition has over 5,000 residents. The Association plays a strong role in developing new housing schemes in Bradford and Keighley enjoying a strong support from the local authority, Homes and Communities Agency (HCA). Although our focus is on meeting the housing needs of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, in response to the changing needs and aspirations of our customers, we are developing homes in non-BAME areas as well as offering more choices of property types and sizes to people who wish to rent or partly own their own homes. As well as providing general housing, MHA also has a supported housing service that accomodates women fleeing domestic violence and a sheltered housing scheme for over 55's. In collaberation with other external agencies we also provide a Gateway service for asylum seekers.
