NEAT, which stands for National Education, Advocacy and Training, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to finding long-term, tangible solutions/jobs for veterans and the unemployed. We achieve our vision by forming strategic alliances and collaborations with local businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and communities throughout the country. The NEAT Value Proposition is embodied in the words, "In Value, Integrity and Transparency, there is Empowerment – more concisely known as InVITE." These values form the core of the organization and are embedded in its programs and strategic alliances that ultimately result in putting people to work. The InVITE seal is awarded to strategic partners that meet the criteria to train and/or employ veterans and the unemployed. NEAT partners with community-based InVITE alliances – funding sources, government agencies, civic organizations, private employers, educators and job placement organizations –– to create real jobs and local employment/career opportunities for veterans and the unemployed. NEAT differentiates itself by establishing a successful process where students can achieve proper education and are guaranteed job placement upon completion of their training. The NEAT process – or business model – is called "Reverse Engineering." Through the InVITE program, companies communicate to NEAT the number and type of skilled employees they need to achieve their growth goals. With this number, NEAT sends veterans to specific educational institutions where they receive training and education that meets the specific job requirements set forth by local employers. The result is a guaranteed job placement for the students; better trained workers for the employers; and, ultimately, a healthier local economy.
