Company Information Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) was established in 1983 as the first European production subsidiary of Ricoh Company, Japan. Production began in 1985 with the opening of our Selenium Drum plant and Toner production facility. Copier production followed in May 1986 and our product portfolio has continued to grow with the introduction of Machine Recycling (1993), Supplies Recycling, Moulding, Solution Business, Production Print (2008) and the European Media Qualification Centre. Selenium drum was replaced by OPC in 1997 and finally came to a close in 2010. Ricoh Wellingborough was established in 1996. They now manage the logistics of Ricoh in the UK, providing a central warehouse facility as well as spare parts supply. In 2014, the Ricoh European Production Centre was established in Bergen-Op-Zoom, The Netherlands and Ricoh Stirling was established in Scotland.
