As one current programme facilitator has said: "I am Child Support Worker working in a women's refuge and have worked alongside many professionals supporting children who have experienced domestic abuse and this course is by far the most effective support I have found available for children who have experienced domestic violence." The aims of the Children & Young People Domestic Abuse Recovery Toolkit is to help children and young people come to terms with their experiences and to develop positive lifestyle and coping strategies. â–¶ Who are we? Sue Penna is the Creative Director and programme expert. She has specialised in writing psycho educational programmes throughout her career. Sue's other programmes include the Domestic Abuse Adult and Children Recovery Tool Kit. This is nationally recognised by agencies as a significant tool enabling those that have experienced abuse to move forward with their lives. Kirsty Mooney is the Director of Business. She has over 14 years experience of working in the public sector at a senior strategic multi agency level specialising in Community Safety, Domestic Abuse and Family Intervention, for which she was nationally recognised. â–¶ Do you need funding?
