InterVol is an international volunteering charity in the UK that works through students to reduce poverty worldwide through partnerships with grassroots organisations in developing countries. Currently, InterVol has student-led branches at the University of Birmingham, Imperial College London, the University of Nottingham, Lancaster University and Oxford Brookes University. Over the past ten years more than 500 volunteers have taken part in international projects supported by InterVol. Our volunteers have provided more than 80,000 hours of work in developing countries focusing on education, conservation and poverty reduction projects. Each project team has a fund-raising target to cover the costs of their project, all of this money goes directly to the designated project. Please see www.intervol.org.uk for details of our partner organisations and the countries we work in.
