SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner of the U. S. Small Business Administration with over 300 chapters and 10,000 volunteers nationwide. Since 1965, the Manasota SCORE Chapter has positively impacted Sarasota and Manatee Counties by supporting new business starts and job creation. Over 40% of our clients have existing businesses and we are helping them grow further. Manasota SCORE continues to excel in mentoring an innovative programming and was the 2017 National Chapter of the Year - Midsize Markets. Over 80 local volunteer business experts, supported by our national volunteer network of 500+ skill sets, help businesses achieve their goals and solve real-world problems through free and confidential business mentoring, local learning events and a world-class online business resource center (www.manasota.score.org). Whether you are starting, growing, or existing your business, these local events also provide valuable peer learning and convenient networking opportunities with other business professionals who can help you succeed.
