Formed in 1966, the Public Service Alliance of Canada is one of Canada's largest unions. It represents more than 180,000 people from coast to coast to coast, the PSAC also represents people who work abroad in embassies and consulates. The PSAC strives to enhance its members' quality of life and has been at the front of a variety of significant and successful campaigns for workplace and human rights, including the struggle for equal pay, enhanced workplace health and safety and the rights of same gender spouses.
