Queen Mary Bar Society is an active and vibrant student group based at Queen Mary University of London. With over 500 members, and a 15 position Committee, the Bar Society is a well-established student society, renowned for the success and ambition of our events, and the invaluable, exclusive and unique opportunities that we provide to our members. The Bar Society was founded with the intention of supporting Queen Mary students who are considering a career at the Bar. Throughout the year we provide events, opportunities and schemes for our members to become involved in. Recent events included a BPTC Talk and Advocacy workshop with the University of Law, Barrister Panel & Networking Event, and Bill of Rights debate chaired by the Right Honourable Lord Hope. The main goal of our society is Bar Awareness: to provide Queen Mary students with the insight and opportunity that they need to make the most of their university studies and to prepare them to pursue a career at the Bar. If you are a student who has attended an event, or participated in a scheme, then please connect with us for updates and news. If you are an organisation or professional who feels they can support Queen Mary Bar Society and the work that we do, then please get in touch and we looking forward to working with you.
