Using the world's most luxurious European fabrics and fine attention to detail, the Company produces timeless designs renowned for their highest quality and exceptional fit. The modern accomplished woman is our bullseye target and her lifestyle needs are at the heart of everything we do. Founded 20 years ago at 148 Lafayette Street in the heart of Soho by a business team led by Deirdre Quinn and her partners Shun Yen and Ida Siu, the Company was a pioneer in the total vertical integration of design, production, sales and fulfillment. It has extended its footprint globally, established a significant online presence and opened retail stores in the United States and abroad. The Company owns its own factory in China and currently has 1700 people around the world. In 2018, the Company will be moving its US offices to the growing tech and creative community in the Brooklyn Naval Yard. There we will bring all our employees together on one floor in order to provide an even more seamless and interactive work environment. The Lafayette 148 New York's collection can be found in 400+ wholesale and specialty stores throughout North America including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Bergdorf Goodman and Holt Renfrew. In 2006, the Company introduced a direct to consumer business through lafayette148ny.com and later launched a consumer catalog in 2009. In 2009, it launched its retail strategy by opening its first stores in China. By the end of 2016, the Company had opened 13 brick & mortar stores throughout China and 5 stores in the US with more planned in the coming years.
