Gap Medics is a highly successful young company that specialises in adventurous educational travel experiences for aspiring medical and nursing students. Students aged 16 upwards join us from around the world to spend a few weeks shadowing health professionals in East Africa, Thailand, Croatia and Poland. At the heart of our programmes are the partnerships we invest heavily in developing with carefully selected hospitals to offer students unrivalled insights into front-line clinical environments under the expert mentorship of local clinicians. We provide a comprehensive package for our students, which includes accommodation in our own purpose-built Gap Medics houses and full-time support from our dedicated staff teams in each location. Approximately 4,000 students - mostly from the UK, USA and Australia - undertake our placements annually, across our seven global programmes. Our Head Office is in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
