We started selling insurance because back in the 1940s, after the hard times of the 1930s, rural people had a difficult time finding insurance coverage for their farms and ranches. We stepped in to fill that need for rural Oklahoma. We like to think we played an important part in the development of Oklahoma. Of course, we sell insurance in urban areas, too. In fact, we sell insurance in all 77 counties! And you don't have to be a farmer to buy our insurance. We're not one of those dot.com insurance companies. We've always been in rural Oklahoma, and we have a commitment to stay there. Our agents and claims people are your friends and neighbors.
