Centerra Gold is a Canadian-based gold mining company engaged in operating, developing, acquiring and exploring gold properties in North America, Asia and other markets worldwide. Centerra has two flagship gold assets, the Kumtor Mine in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Mount Milligan Mine in northern British Columbia, Canada, after the acquisition of Thompson Creek Metals in 2016. Centerra's shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol CG and the Company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Company is the largest Western-based gold producer in Central Asia. In 2016 Centerra produced 598,677 ounces of gold from its two operating mines: the Kumtor mine in the Kyrgyz Republic; and the Mount Milligan mine in Canada.
