SIDEARM Sports is the perfect blend of sports junkies and technology geeks. Most offices are filled with employees that excitedly talk about the big play in the game from the night before, and ours is no different. While we discuss the game, however, we also write the software that distributes that same news across the internet, calculates the statistics for the game, and archives the video clips so that fans that missed it can watch it later. SIDEARM Sports is the company that makes it possible for collegiate sports fans to follow their favorite teams no matter if they're across town, across the country, or across the world. If you ask us, we have the best job in the world. College sports information has two distinct pieces: distribution and consumption. Since its inception in 1996, SIDEARM Sports has focused our efforts on both sides of this equation, ensuring that both pieces are as efficient and easy as possible. We want the SID who has already worked 60 hours in a week to go home a little sooner because the SIDEARM system completed some of the mundane, but required tasks for them. We want Grandma in Montana to be able to see her granddaughter in NY score the winning goal as it happens. We spend every day making sure that we do everything we can to make these processes the best they possibly can be for everyone involved. The SIDEARM Staff is comprised of nearly fifty designers, developers, project managers, and customer support members, many of whom worked in college athletics before coming to SIDEARM. Our collective experience working with athletics is what drives us to innovate and improve the processes that currently exist, by using the latest advancements in web based technology. SIDEARM Sports provides the software and technology that powers the websites, livestats, and video streaming for athletic programs North America. We work with over 800 NCAA DI, DII, DIII plus NAIA, NJCAA, and CIS programs.
