Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit, 130-bed community hospital and regional referral center. For more than 130 years, our staff has been dedicated to delivering high quality health care with state-of-the-art technology. Claxton-Hepburn has kept pace with the advancement of technology with the addition of a.128-slice CT scanner, PET imaging, 1.4T Signa Excite HDx MRI, 3D mammography, 3D/4D ultrasound, and a 24-station dialysis unit. The facility includes a 67-bed medical surgical unit, a 10-bed obstetrics unit and a 28-bed acute care mental health center. The campus includes the main hospital, the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center and the Dr. Ravinder N. Agarwal Renal Center. Located off campus, is the Rev. Thomas T. Patterson Wound Healing Center. Our Medical Center is a regional referral center serving a population of 110,000 in St. Lawrence County and provides primary care for a population of 40,000 in Ogdensburg and the surrounding communities. Our medical staff provides excellent care and includes over 25 specialties.
