We provide high standards of patient care from three main hospital sites: Furness General Hospital in Barrow, Royal Lancaster Infirmary in Lancaster and Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal. All three hospitals have a range of inpatient and outpatient services. Furness General Hospital and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary have full Accident & Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and Consultant led beds. Westmorland General Hospital provides a range of General Hospital services, together with a Primary Care Assessment Service (PCAS) with GP led inpatient beds, operated by Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. All three sites provide a range of planned care, including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day-case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from a number of community facilities.
