The legendary Hotel Excelsior is a Venetian symbol of the sumptuous Belle Epoque taste and has made Venice Lido one of the world's fabled resorts. With its exclusive golden beaches and its sea-view terraces, the Hotel embodies the charm of Venice Lido and stands for the favorite holiday destination where to spend a vacation in blissful relaxation surrounded by elegance and just few minutes away by complimentary motor launch from St. Mark's Square. The hotel features 197 rooms, the world-famous Sala Stucchi appeared in 'Once upon a time in America', banqueting rooms, a wide Terrace overlooking the sea, the 'Red Carpet' conference hall, La Taverna restaurant, three bars, swimming pool, private beach equipped with cabanas. During winter season 2012/2013 the Hotel has been undertaking a thorough renovation of all rooms, with a remake of the tapestry, and in most of them with the placement of wide showers in the bathrooms: the aim is to guarantee – year after year – the highest comfort, respecting the traditional Moorish style which distinguishes Hotel Excelsior.
