HBSCNY is a 1,300-member non-profit organization serving 15,000 cross-generational HBS alumni, the school and the broader NYC community with 500 volunteer resources, 5-member full-time team and a $1 million operating budget. As the largest global HBS network, HBSCNY is a unique, powerful platform connecting the leadership and management expertise of Harvard Business School and its alumni with the dynamic community of Greater New York City. A sampling of the Club's activities: • 100 events and programs annually that provide unique opportunities to learn, to network and to have fun. Programs range from Lifestyle/Fashion, Media, Finance, Outstanding Investors, Sports and Career Leadership & Development. • Each year, more than 45 ways to provide pro-bono strategic and management consulting to growing non-profits via Community Partners. 270 alumni participants provide more than 14,000 volunteer hours (hbscnycommunitypartners.org). • The largest angel investing group in New York via the Harvard Business School Angels Association of Greater New York (HBSAANY), with over 260 members and investments in 45 companies (hbsnyangels.com). • A growing spectrum of entrepreneurship activities including the New Venture Competition, Alums in the Alley and Startup Partners (alumsinthealley.com). • An emerging partnership with the Harvard Business School on multiple initiatives, including the Rock Center, the Skills Gap Project for Global Competitiveness and Gender Balance. • Alumni access, engagement and relationship building with the broader NYC business community. • Scholarship support to students with financial needs.
