Pembrokeshire College is the centre for further and higher education in Pembrokeshire, west Wales. Degrees, HNDs and HNCs validated by the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. The College is an accredited College of the University of Glamorgan. These courses serve the needs of the local school leavers, adults, employees and businesses. Some courses also attract students from other parts of the UK and internationally.
There is a variety of courses to choose from for school leavers and adults starting from foundation level to A Levels.
Daytime, evening and on-line courses available at the main Haverfordwest campus, MITEC at the Docks at Milford Haven and many community venues locally.
NVQ training and assessment in the work place as well as other accredited and customised business training programmes.
Aprenticeships are offered in a range of vocational career routes which link College training with employment.
The College has award-winning resources and excellent facilities and equipment notably in the Learning Resource Centre, computing and IT suites, design and multi-media studies, technology workshops and, most recently, an award-winning £3.2m Construction Centre. The next phase of a £30m estate development plan has seen the completion of a £4m Engineering Wing in 2010.
The College has around 2,000 full-time and 6,500 part-time students and over 550 staff. Approximately 100 full-time students are recruited from overseas.
