We are comfortable with complexity, having invested in businesses that other private equity firms may regard too challenging to undertake. By investing in a diverse range of portfolio companies, Oakley's objective is to work proactively with management teams, together with other stakeholders, to create substantial value for the Funds' investors. Today, Oakley Capital comprises three mid-market private equity funds with over â‚¬1.5 billion of commitments, investing primarily in Western Europe. Following the success of its predecessor funds, Fund III closed in September 2017 at â‚¬800m. Fund I (2007) and Fund II (2013) remain top performers for their vintages. The Funds have a strong investor base with high quality institutional and private individuals participating alongside the Funds' largest investor, Oakley Capital Investments Limited (OCI).
