Cardinal Newman Catholic School is an 11–18 voluntary aided comprehensive school located in Hove, East Sussex, England. It is a Catholic mixed comprehensive; established to serve the many parishes that lie on the coastal strip between Newhaven and Seaford in the east and Shoreham in the West. The Head Teacher is Dr James Kilmartin. In 2016, over 73% of GCSE students achieved at least 5 A*-C GCSEs including Maths and English. The Progress 8 score was + 0.31 making it the top performing secondary school in Brighton and Hove. Newman College is the Sixth Form of Cardinal Newman Catholic School which has recently opened a Sixth Form Centre with state-of-the-art facilities. In 2016, over 70% of A-level students achieved A*-C grades which is the highest of any school sixth form in Brighton and Hove. A record number of students also secured places at Oxbridge.
