Summary of Children in Scotland: Children in Scotland is the umbrella body for the children's sector, representing children's services organisations and individuals across the voluntary, private and public sectors. We have a unique membership that spans the sector, including education, health, social care, early years and childcare, and work on their behalf as an intermediary; facilitating engagement, partnership, learning and communication with and between policy makers, practitioners and children and families, underpinned by the principles of Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC). We are the impartial voice of the children's sector, working to promote the interests of our members and the wider sector through focused liaison, networking and engagement with our members and a range of key stakeholders across the sector. Our Vision: Our aim is that Scotland will become a world leader in achieving wellbeing for all children and the highest quality of every childhood.
