Within the next 7 years, over 50% of the work force will be made up of Gen Y (those born in the â€˜80s and early 90s). This generation has grown up in a digital age, where gap years rule and jobs for life are nonexistent. They have more opportunities than any generation previously, and aren't afraid to try out a number of careers before settling. So how do companies a) attract the best ones b) keep them and c) make them even better? We think about the work force as two groups: the senior team, with established business experience, and the junior team, with the current, digital experience and through 'thestudio' we bring the two together.
