Foundation Sports provides children with the opportunity to access sport during the school day and also evenings, weekends and school holidays. We also provide Local Education Authorities with delivery of sessions, tournaments and competitions. Our enthusiastic coaches deliver sports coaching sessions in primary and secondary schools. We provide fun and informative sessions with fresh ideas. Our qualified coaches are always positive, show encouragement and provide examples of fair play. Established in 1999, Foundation Sports delivers to over 350 schools per week and coaches over 15,000 children each and every week throughout the UK. Our healthy lifestyle scheme, 'The Move It Project' works with schools to support the delivery of physical activity and nutritional education. We support schools in increasing the knowledge and understanding of physical activity and diet and nutrition of children and families in maintaining good health and working towards a healthy weight in the context of tackling childhood obesity. Foundation Sports are proud to have their own schemes of learning published by world renowned publishers 'Bloomsbury'. The culmination of years of experience, the schemes outline comprehensive coaching sessions for young people, including warm-ups, skills training, games and final practice drills. Fun, educational and challenging, each session contains information on equipment needed, space required and how to organise the players. Foundation Sports staff are all National Governing Body qualified and have industry leading insurance, liability and safeguarding certification. Foundation Sports are accredited by the Association of Physical Education (AfPE), This is the latest initiative to further demonstrate Foundation Sports long standing commitment to being dedicated to improving the quality of sports coaching being delivered to young players.
