The Centers for Business Development at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is comprised of the Rio South Texas Regional Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC); Small Business Development Center (SBDC); and Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC). Funded cooperatively by public and private partnerships, the centers aim to comprehensively deliver services in business development for the business communities of the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. From business planning, market research, and financial projections to business certifications, international trade, and government contracting, the Centers for Business Development foster economic development and sustainability for the region through its programs. Business advisement is at no cost and confidential, while business trainings are free or nominally priced.
