clÃ© is a new shopping experience for classic and unique tiles created by impassioned artists & artisan studios designed to form heirloom surfaces accumulated from two perspectives, yours and ours. Several years ago, Deborah Osburn began writing the popular tile blog Tile Envy from her life steeped in art, fashion, design & tile. Artists began to present their tiles, hoping to be featured on the blog and clients and designers from around the world began to ask to purchase the tiles. Launched in 2012, clÃ© is a convergence of these mutual passions for anything in clay (hence our playful moniker). Our mantra is'luxury is green', heirloom quality over trend, substance over style, and the transformative not the mundane. We believe that if it's well-crafted and artfully designed it will stand the test of time! Trained as a sculptor, Deborah has honed these passions into a long career designing and manufacturing tiles.
