The story of Boca Restaurant Group begins with its founding chef and company president David Falk. At the age of 26, with culinary school and some of the world's great kitchens in tow, the young chef took a leap of faith and opened his first restaurant, Boca, in Cincinnati's Northside in 2001. Boca shot off like a loaded bullet, fueled by a young passionate staff and a chef with a clearly defined battlecry to Blow People Away. The Cincinnati culinary scene rallied behind the young restaurant and its ability to blend the detailed approach of haute cuisine with the comfort of grandma's house. Currently, the group includes the three high-performing and distinct concepts: Boca, award-winning and soulful European/ American cuisine served in a whimsical and highly acclaimed space on Sixth Street in downtown Cincinnati; Nada, inspired Mexican packed into a vibrant and energetic urban oasis in downtown Cincinnati, the Columbus Arena District and downtown Indianapolis; and Sotto, an Italian trattoria set in a cozy, candlelit subterranean lair in downtown Cincinnati. Boca Restaurant Group's corporate team is structured in three parts: Innovation (marketing, concept and restaurant design), Personnel and Finance.
