At Lakes College, we offer over 300 courses, both full time and part time, providing a great alternative to A-levels with courses ranging from music to plumbing and everything in between. At Lakes College, we work closely with local employers, enabling students to potentially become employed once they have completed their studies as well as building their skills base. From 2014, everyone who studies at Lakes College will have an element of work experience included in their course. Students will also have the opportunity to specialise in certain subjects, enabling them to then further their studies at University. We will begin interviewing for courses in January 2014, for courses starting in September 2014. If you are interested in more than one course that is available, feel free to come in and speak to a student advisor who can offer some advice on what direction to take. Once you have chosen a course, we will then invite you along for an interview, where you will be offered either a conditional place on your chosen course or an alternative place on a suitable, relative course.
