MTEC provides hands on support & growth services to manufacturers technology companies by delivering high quality, cost beneficial technical & management services. MTEC improves the competitiveness of existing businesses & advances the development of new business opportunities through the application of innovative techniques & tools. Our experienced staff includes electrical, mechanical, computer & industrial engineers & project managers with in-depth experience in business management, new product design/development, production operations, business process analysis/improvement, management policy analysis, workforce training/development, strategic planning, organizational design, & industrial engineering. The staff also includes marketing, business development, & information systems professionals. Founded in 1988, MTEC is a non-profit organization & is partially funded by NYSTAR (NYS Empire State Dev. Div. of Science, Tech. & Innovation). MTEC serves as the NYSTAR designated Regional Technology Development Center for the NY Hudson Valley Region & is the official representative of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) National Network in New York State/Hudson Valley.
