The Texas Medical Center's (TMC) Innovation Institute is at the intersection of translating fundamental discoveries into commercialized products, whether they be new drugs, medical devices, diagnostics, or digital health applications that improve human health. The TMC Innovation Institute is home to the TMCx Accelerator, TMC Biodesign, TMCx+ Incubator, Johnson & Johnson Innovation's JLABS @ TMC, and the AT&T Foundry for Connected Health. TMCx is a fast-paced digital health and medical device accelerator where startups validate and refine their technologies, guided by TMC clinicians and health care industry experts. TMCx+ Incubator is a collaborative environment where early-stage health care and life science companies can set up office space and engage with a vast advisor network, attend a variety of events, and sit in on programming aimed at helping expand their businesses. TMC Biodesign is an innovation fellowship program for interdisciplinary teams to develop new health and life sciences products within one year. Johnson and Johnson Innovation's JLABS @ TMC is a life science incubator that connects regional startups to the full breadth of J&J resources to collaboratively develop innovative technologies in devices and diagnostics, consumer health, and pharmaceuticals. AT&T Foundry for Connected Health is an innovation center where developers collaborate with AT&T technology experts, and access AT&T resources, to develop new digital and connected health technologies.
