Wonder Women Tech is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization which produces the Wonder Women Tech conference and series of educational programming that highlights, celebrates and educates women and diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics (STEAM) and innovation. Our platform offers a variety of speakers, panel discussions, coding classes, hackathons and other dynamic initiatives geared towards empowering women and girls and cultivating Diversity and Inclusion in STEAM. Our 2016 conference theme #WeArePioneers will explore the next frontier in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math and Innovation and highlight the women and people of color who have paved the way for future generations! Primary programming will occur on Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at the Long Beach Convention Center. The City of Long Beach has made a commitment to sponsor the Wonder Women Tech Conference for the next three years and we look forward to expanding our vision Internationally! Our Junior Innovation Camp/Wonder Girl Camp is provided at no cost to participants, and engages students ages 8 to 12 and ages 13 to 17 years old with courses that teach coding, film making, game development, DIY projects and age appropriate entrepreneurship. Our WWT Immersion program pairs our Sponsors and Partners with our attendees and online community with mentorship and ‘Job Shadow' opportunities. We offer a WWT Career Fair which allows conference attendees and registered guests to attend a career fair which will feature booths from our sponsor/partners who are actively looking for talent in STEAM. We partner with cities like Long Beach, Los Angeles, and universities like Arizona State University and Cal State to offer Wonder Women Hacks and Hacks 4 Humanity hackathon programming, which allows developers, visionaries, technologists, UX designers and creatives to build mobile apps that will impact women and girls, or contribute to the Social Good.
