EGBOK trains underprivileged young adults to be the future hospitality leaders of Cambodia. Started in 2009 on the belief that every Cambodian should have equal opportunity, independence and ability to shape one's own life, our three phase approach & holistic program ensures that every student have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their professional and personal lives. Cambodia remains one of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia. The effects of the genocide are still apparent today, as Cambodia continues to rebuild its economy, education system, and social institutions. The targeted victims were the educated class, thus leaving Cambodia's population young and uneducated. We utilize the economic-driver of tourism to build a qualified local workforce for the industry. In doing so, EGBOK enables young adults to lift both themselves and their families out of poverty. We are a 501(c)(3)-registered organization.
